Mahjong Solitaire

Select two identical tiles to remove them. A tile must have nothing above it and at least one open side (left or right). Darker tiles are blocked. All tiles, including winds and dragons, match identical faces. Every new deal and shuffle has a possible path to completion, but your choices can still lead to a dead end. Use undo or shuffle if you get stuck. If a stack cannot be rescued by changing faces, shuffle rearranges the remaining tiles into open rows. There is no time limit.

Choose Turtle, Butterfly, Dragon, Fortress, or Hourglass. Each pattern has its own gaps, branches, and stacked layers. Use Tab and Enter to select tiles with a keyboard. Changing the layout starts a new game.
